The Patro de Charlesbourg
For a long time, Charlesbourg’s community life was driven by the religious congregations who lived there. In 1948, the Brothers of St. Vincent de Paul founded the Patro de Charlesbourg, with a barn as its meeting place. This initiative came about when some of the children asked the clerics for things to do in summer and to use the skating rink in winter.
