Pope John Paul II addressed the crowd at Place d’Youville during the unveiling of a plaque commemorating his stay in Québec City. Other public figures went up with him on the podium. We see Québec City mayor Jean Pelletier and his wife, and the archbishop of Québec City, Msgr. Louis-Albert Vachon.
