Choir in honour of the Acadians
Acadian culture has a strong musical tradition that has kept the distinctive sonorities of its language alive over the years. Already in the 1860s, choirs were springing up in Acadian schools and colleges. This musical tradition continues to this day. What could be more natural than to hear Acadian French sung by this choir at the monument’s inauguration!
