Jacques Richard received the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League’s top-scorer trophy for the 1971–1972 season. He led the scoring board with 161 points, including 71 goals. A native of Québec City, he earned nearly 400 points in his three seasons with the Remparts. Jacques Richard would then play with the Nordiques in the National Hockey League.
