Small parishes, large liturgical spaces
In 1910, the community of Haut-du-Sault founded the parish of Saint-Louis-de-Courville. At first, mass was held in a barn. A church was soon needed to serve the population of 900. Three years later, the new place of worship was consecrated on a seven-acre plot that also included a cemetery and presbytery.
