United under the Carillon flag
In the first half of the 20th century, male religious communities arrived in the region in great numbers. In 1920, the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart founded an establishment to train young people who wanted to dedicate themselves to the priestly and religious life. The École Apostolique du Sacré-Cœur was established on Cascades Avenue. Today, the institution is known as École Secondaire François-Bourrin.
