The history of La Nativité-de-Notre-Dame Church dates back to the 17th century, when the village of Fargy and its chapel were built. Although its location remains unknown, a plot of land was ceded in 1776 for the construction of the parish centre. This memorial site evolved over time, with five different churches built there. This photograph from the early 20th century shows how the fourth of these churches stands out in the landscape.
