This image shows the various enclosures and buildings at Holt Renfrew Zoo. Its history dates back to the early 20th century and the opening of a luxury hotel known as Kent House. Holt Renfrew & Co. kept a few bison in the park adjacent to the establishment. In 1907, a zoo was built to showcase Canada’s huge variety of wildlife.
