Skiing in the Kent House woods
Beauport’s wide-open spaces are ideal for outdoor sports. In the 19th century, the famous “sugarloaf” at Montmorency Falls was already attracting city dwellers. They arrived by horse-drawn sleigh for sledding or skiing. In the photo, a skier strides through the woods of Kent House.
