Cross-country skiing to the viaduct
Women gather for cross-country skiing near the Cap-Rouge railway viaduct. Known as the Trestle, the viaduct is a local landmark. These women are proof of the growing popularity of the sport in Canada in the 20th century. Cross-country skiing was becoming accessible to women, a sign of its growing democratization.
