The Zouaves at Villa Flora
On May 26, 1929, the Cadets Zouaves de Charlesbourg went to Villa Flora to visit its owners, Alphonse Dorion and Anne-Marie Villeneuve. Anne-Marie made the boys’ uniforms, which included loose “saroual” trousers, a vest, a wool belt, a short decorated jacket, a cap and gaiters over the shoes.
