This image shows four Marist brothers at the Jardin Zoologique du Québec, with the sails of a windmill visible in the background. This structure dates back to the institution’s inauguration in 1932, when the committee suggested that the buildings should resemble 17th-century Canadian dwellings. Architect Sylvio Brassard developed a veritable village with the animal park around it.
