Reading was an important aspect of Marist Brothers’ teaching. However, it wasn’t until 1937 that the first school library opened. A budget of $50 was allocated to purchase books, and several donations were made over time. In 1961, the École Secondaire de Charlesbourg was inaugurated, with a library for the students.
