Place d’Youville is home to two major cultural venues: Le Capitole and Le Diamant. Inaugurated in 1903, Le Capitole building was renovated by developers, transforming it into a theatre, hotel and restaurant in 1992. An initiative of Québec City playwright Robert Lepage, Le Diamant opened in 2019.
