Although no longer premier of Quebec at the time this photo was taken, Jacques Parizeau continued to be friends with Mayor Jean-Paul L’Allier and his wife, Johanne Mongeau. He also kept up with what was happening in Québec City. He regularly attended major events, such as this one at the Fêtes de la Nouvelle-France.
