Gordie Howe and the Houston Aeros faced Marc Tardif and the Quebec Nordiques in a World Hockey Association game at the Colisée de Québec. Howe came out of his hockey retirement in 1973 to try his hand in this new league. In a rather unique situation, he played alongside his two sons with the Aeros.
