The Unibroue microbrewery was officially founded in 1993. It then teamed up with the famous Quebec singer-songwriter Robert Charlebois. For the 1995 Médiévales festival, Unibroue decided to launch a beer called “La Gaillarde,” which was distributed around the festival site.
