The company’s golden age was indisputably the post-war period, up until the 1960s. At the time, Dominion Corset was a major employer in the Québec City area, with nearly 1,200 people on payroll. However, this number declined rapidly over the following decades. Eventually, the company was bought out and left the Saint-Roch district for good in 1988.
