Palais de l’Industrie circa 1927
Designed by architect Adalbert Trudel, the Palais de l’Industrie dates back to 1924. In 1956, it was renamed the Pavillon du Commerce. Today, this distinctive building houses the Grand Marché de Québec. Several of the city’s other major buildings were designed by this architect, the best known of which is undoubtedly the Cinéma de Paris on Saint-Joseph Street, now the Impérial de Québec.
