The Palais de l’Agriculture in 1931
Built in 1931, the Palais de l’Agriculture was undoubtedly the most beautiful building on the Exhibition grounds at the time. It was known as the “old Colisée” or the “little Colisée.” In the early 1940s, the building’s indoor skating rink hosted a number of major events, including shows by American roller skaters and the infamous Rockettes from New York.
