Phil Collins was first known as the drummer of Genesis between 1970 and 1975. After Peter Gabriel left the band in 1975, Collins took over as lead singer. Collins continues to be known as a particularly talented musician with a brilliant solo career. He performed in Québec City during his A Trip into the Light tour.
