This image shows a performance from the Festival International de la Jeunesse Francophone, also known as the Superfrancofête. It is often considered Québec City’s first major cultural event. Over 25 countries took part in the arts and sporting event. The program featured disciplines as varied as music, poetry, parachuting and dance.
