Three giants of Quebec music met on stage for the Superfrancofête: Gilles Vigneault, Félix Leclerc and Robert Charlebois. They opened the Festival International de la Jeunesse Francophone on the Plains of Abraham with a show called “J’ai Vu Le Loup, Le Renard, Le Lion” (I saw the wolf, the fox and the lion). This legendary moment in Quebec music was the precursor of the province’s large-scale open-air shows.
