Aerial view of Saint-Charles-Garnier parish in Sillery
Under the British Regime, Sillery was a small town made up of large British upper-class estates and working-class neighbourhoods inhabited by people of French and Irish origin. While religious associations took possession of several estates, most were subdivided in the 1960s to make way for residential development projects that starkly changed the space.
