Winter view of Champlain Street
The Cap-Blanc district at the base of the Cape Diamant cliff is an avalanche-prone spot in Québec City. Several incidents have occurred near Champlain Street. In the early 1900s, public works stabilized the slope, by moderating its slope among other things.
