This scene shows the demolition of part the Chateau Frontenac’s wing that was built in 1892. This emblematic hotel has been added to and expanded many times over since its first phase was designed by architect Bruce Price. In addition to the 1920 event shown here, three others took place in 1897, 1908 and 1990. Work was also required after a fire broke out in the old building.
