Aqueduct
Workers posing for a photo at the sewer main at Prince-Édouard and Caron streets in 1942. This huge public works site employed hundreds of workers across the city. It ran until 1950. During the month of March, the workers received several cost-of-living allowances, which Mayor Lucien Borne undertook to provide.
