Stoup
A stoup contains holy water. The aspergillum is used to sprinkle objects or people with holy water. Made of solid silver, it was designed in Paris in 1717. It is believed to be the oldest stoup in Quebec. The sides of the stoup are embellished with angels’ heads and floral motifs in the Baroque style.
